In 2024, we kicked off the year with another successful Policy Training Academy and Community Safety Fair, followed by our inaugural Richard K. Gilbert Policy Advocacy Competition, where law students from across the country showcased their legal skills in a mock-trial style competition. We also celebrated with supporters like you several legislative wins, including increased conversations with lawmakers about ways to explore reparations and promising gains for mothers in Department of Corrections custody.
